I did a test run of our Journal Covers and wanted to share the measurements that I used for our composition notebooks.
Composition Notebook, 9 3/4" h x 7 1/2" w
I followed the wonderful Bloom and Blossom Journal Cover tutorial using 1/4" seams.
- Outer Fabric: 10.5" x 16"
- Interfacing: 10" x 15.5"
- Flaps: 10.5" x 4.5" I folded these over 1/4" once and sewed (I didn't fold twice to keep down bulk since it won't be easily viewable)
- Inside Lining: 10.5" x 12.5" also folded sides 1/4" and sewed
Hope this helps!

I used these measurement and my journal cover fit just perfectly!! Thanks, Cola!

I think that what you said was actually very
ReplyDeletelogical. However, think on this, suppose you composed a catchier post title?
I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean "Sample Journal Cover" is a little boring. You ought to glance at Yahoo's front page
and watch how they write news headlines to get
people to open the links. You might add a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little livelier.
