October Meeting Recap

The LVMQG will be participating in a not-so-secret Secret Santa Pillow Swap! At the October meeting, everyone picked out a fat quarter as inspiration and then we drew names out of a hat trash bin. If you were unable to attend last night and would like to participate, please attend the November meeting and you can draw a name. The finished pillow swap will be at our December meeting along with many many cookies.

Our 10 minute tip was courtesy of Andrea about the math behind Half Square Triangles. In case your interested, Rachel @ ps i quilt has a great tutorial on her website.

Our November meeting will be the Habitat Challenge Reveal along with a pot luck (finger foods)!

Does everyone know what Pinterest is?  If not I highly recommend you check it out.  It is an organization tool for all of your favorite photos you find on the web.  I use it for inspiration and, let's face it, wasting many hours late at night when I can't sleep.
